My ELA Curriculum Pick this year!

For ELA, I have preferences when it comes to a good curriculum or else my OCD mind will try and make sure that each student is getting everything and I end up spending more time and money piece milling than I do on actual teaching. Though, piece milling is great when you are on a budget and you have all the time in the world, but I have better things than to scour the TPT sites or education.com looking for that perfect fit. ELA has 5 main components: Literary Analysis, Reading/Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Writing, and Spelling. This year, I chose to go with Learning Language Arts Through Literature by Common Sense Press, which definitely covers all of this and more, for my children who are in the Red Book, Purple Book, and Green Book.

My favorites about this curriculum:
